I come from a family of small business owners, magicians, artists, adventurers and caretakers.

In 2010, I graduated with an English degree from Columbia University and went on to pursue a career in technology. For 10 years, I led product teams at big corporations, agencies and startups. I launched over 40 products, including some award winning ones, in industries ranging from children’s education to marketing analytics and e-commerce. Most recently, I advised teams at a 50-company blockchain incubator, created their product organization, and collaborated on diversity and inclusion initiatives.

I know first hand the cost of growing too fast or in the wrong direction.

How an unhealthy culture can rot a company from the inside out and how healthy teams can do unexpected and beautiful things.

I felt the status and loneliness that comes with being an early team member or founder. I felt the high of making a product people loved and the fear of not being able to do it again. I dove into leadership and new roles with confidence and joy, anxiety and sleepless nights. Only later did I learn the importance of asking help from people who could guide me.

I also learned the complexities of attaching my sense of purpose so fully to my work. I have come to look at capitalism, startups and American culture differently as a result.

As I looked back on my career, I realized the thing I cared most about were the people - not the products or companies we built.

Supporting people in their journey is what matters most to me and why I became a coach. We don’t have to do hard things alone. Through my work, I hope more people can share their full selves with the world. I hope we learn to see each other and ourselves with clarity and care.
